FEAT Fibromyalgia Support Group
Facilitated by Julie Püttgen (MA, CMHC, SEP, MFA)
The Fibromyalgia Experiential Arts Team (FEAT) offers participants a combination of peer support, mindfulness instruction, healing movement, and expressive arts practice. Woman-identifying people diagnosed with fibromyalgia are invited to come join us for creative and contemplative practices that nurture an individual sense of freedom, connection and possibility, while also sharing their wisdom about living with fibromyalgia. Drop-ins are welcome, and committed participation is helpful. FEAT is supported by the Section of Rheumatology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock. Medical Center.
Facilitator: Julie Püttgen (MA, CMHC, SEP, MFA) is a therapist, teaching artist, and meditation teacher. Also trained as a hospital chaplain, she is passionate about exploring the intersections of embodied well-being, contemplative practice, and the arts. She is a juried member of the NH Arts Council’s Arts in Healthcare and Arts in Education rosters. She currently offers somatic and expressive arts therapies for individual clients and facilitates expressive arts and meditation groups at the Center for Integrative Health in Hanover, NH.
Sessions are FREE, and take place one Saturday afternoon per month from 2 to 4 PM.
During COVID-19, we are meeting via Zoom. Once conditions permit, we will meet in a hybrid Zoom/in-person format, with some participants online and others choosing to gather at the Center for Integrative Health in Hanover, NH.
